Crowley is a demon that absolutely wants to be on top of human fashion and technology, changes style every ten years and has the latest smartphone available. And he also has an old 30 years old answering machine with tapes. Because he knows Aziraphale uses this line to call him. Because then he leaves him messages. And Crowley can keep the tapes.
He probably has, somewhere in his appartement, a box full of 30 years worth of messages Aziraphale left him. Most of them probably complaining about the answering machine and the fact that he isn’t home, but still. Crowley has them.
I’m crying.
Sometimes Crowley purposefully doesn’t pick up the phone, just so he can add another tape to his collection.
I feel like the usage of the term “crack ship” has changed. When I think “crack ship”, I don’t think ‘these two characters have good chemistry and would be good together, but it’s not going to happen, so it’s crack", I think Loki/Gordon Ramsay
You don’t think Loki and Gordon Ramsay would have chemistry together??
Can you all help me list all they types of magick and types of witches?
So here’s the thing… there’s a few different categories of labels/titles within witchcraft… labels like ‘green witch/magic’ and such aren’t types of magic. They’re titles/labels used to describe your craft so others can get a small idea of what your practice is like. I use greenwitch bc plants are heavily involved in my craft, and so that’s how I describe it. I always say that those types of labels (green, lunar, space, tech, city, rural etc) are there to /describe/ not /define/ your craft.
However, then there’s labels that describe what religious path you’re on and some religious paths /do/ define your craft. British Traditional Wicca is going to have a set difinition of what is and isn’t included in that path. There’s also Dianic, Gardenarian and a whole slew of other Wiccan traditions, but they all fall under Wicca, which is a category/label itself.
Then there’s things types of magic like chaos magic, and sympathetic magic and such which may also be used to describe /or/ define your craft. I.e. you could practice Chaos magic only if you wanted to, and that would define your craft.
Then there’s the even broader categories, like Wicca, that just dry generally describe the path. I’m a secular witch, meaning I don’t work with any deities, and I’m non-religious in my practice. Other types of traditions that fall into this.. category of categories.. would be things like hoodoo and root work, indigenous practices, or really any ancestral practice like that, Christian witchcraft, etc. there’s so many.
I think you need to narrow down the types of labels you’re looking for.. there are so many used to describe so many different things. Do you have any more specificities to narrow down your search?
@therestlesswitch Basically what you all just said. Labels/titles, and basically all the different categories involved.
Well, that’s going to be a lifelong search for! Again, the first ones I talked about really don’t mean anything, and are there just to describe your craft, so you can calm your craft literally whatever you like to help those around you understand your practice without going into detail. There’s no ‘list’ of this type of label. Some common ones are green, lunar, Astro (astrology,) animal, divination, hearth, kitchen,.. and so so many more because they’re not ‘types’ of witches.
I dont have the breadth of knowledge on the hundreds of different religious or ancestral paths that are out there. And no one person is going to know all of them either. And they’re also (mostly) not like set in stone. Think of how many different types of Christian paths there are! There’s so so so many. I don’t know half of them, I’m sure. There’s even more paths in witchcraft and they’re even more loosely defined.
Basically what I’m trying to get across is that finding out what you’re drawn to, and then defining/describing your path is going to be much easier than tracking down allllll the thousands of different paths to find a path to then try out. (If that’s why you’re looking for lists)
If you’re listing them just to gain the knowledge and see what’s out there, then I would start by being involved with as wide a circle of different witches as possible. I don’t speak about paths that I’m not on in much detail. And I don’t take info about a path which that person isn’t on. So I suggest if you want to know more about a path, find a practitioner of that path to learn from. I also think that this sort of knowledge just comes with time and experience in witchy communities. I didn’t know about ODBO (order of bards, I ages and druids) at all until finding a podcast by a Druid. I didn’t know about any of the different sub-sects of Wicca before hearing about them on podcasts. So that sort of stuff just comes with time and stumbling across things I think :) follow everyone! Even paths you’re not sure you’d like. At least for starters. Learn from and about all you can, and take what works for you, leave what doesn’t! (Without appropriating of course.)
I feel like this probably isn’t very satisfying info.. bc you want lists, so my apologies for that! I’m just not in a position to list more than the few I already have talked about haha
Is glamour real? Can it really change my appearance?
Yes, glamour is real! No, it cannot change your appearance. It is used more so to embody traits & gain confidence. It alters your aura, therefore altering the way you may be seen/perceived.
How do I use glamour magick?
Typically, glamour is intertwined with your “getting ready” routine. Think of glamour spells as a pretty coat you put on before leaving your house, or a pretty pin in your hair that makes you feel beautiful. Its one of the types of magick that we can use to transform mundane activities into enchanting activities. Here are some examples of intentions:
-be kind, appear softer, appear stronger, gain confidence, to look powerful, be sexy, speak with confidence in front of a crowd, be focused, etc.
i do not recommend using glamour for any of the following: make _____ love me, to banish or hex, to get a job, to get money.
remember that glamour is about giving you that extra boost to achieve your intention. its like a crutch, use it to enhance your aura… for example: instead of “making ___ fall for you” you can use glamour to exude a sexy and confident energy, which will likely draw him into you by highlighting your best qualities. instead of “getting a job” you can use glamour to help you come across as professional, powerful, and focused which will likely result in gaining respect from your interviewer and leaving you on their mind for the position.
How to cast glamours
Most glamours are very simple, and you likely have the tools you may need already. Simply
1. pick your intention2. choose what tools/methods will work the best for your needs 3.Write your spell down 4.cast it!
Ex. 1. I want to appear to be softer. 2. I decide i am going to enchant my perfume by drawing a sigil on the bottom of the bottle in pink sharpie, and charge it with a short incantation. 3. Draw up your sigil, and write/find an incantation that sits with you well and helps your energy flow. You can sing a song as well, whatever gets that flow going. 4. Cleanse & Do the damn thing!
Here are some glamours to refer to if you aren’t comfortable creating your own yet:
me and my friend jessie are physically incapable of having a normal fucking conversation so things happen where we accidently end up rping a dude bro trying to hit on me, an ordinary woman who is not a snake
